one of our first mall hangouts was actually in celebration of my birthday!! :3
We're a friend group of 12 people, all meeting at the same Middle School. None of us are quite the same and have lots of differences but none the less, we love each other to the moon and back!!
Most of us met individually in either 6th or 7th grade but only really started to band together in late 7th grade. By then, Cailin, Sandy, Oscar, and Viktor had already formed a group with some other kids. (4/12)
It was only in march of our 7th grade year that Lucy, Melody, and I really started to hang out with them too. (7/12) I can remember, the first day I started to hang out with the group was on Oscar's birthday and everyone was making a candy salad in celebration of him. Lucy had just returned from her vacation to Vietnam and Melody began to wander to the area we sat in.
As 8th grade came around, we lost a couple friends but also gained some, including, Victor, Darla, Hadassah, Anthony, and James. (12/12)
And we've all been together since.

We don't have many options in our boring fuckass city but our most repeated hangout spots are:
DTMF is just one of the many songs I consider to be "our" group's songs but it's probably my favorite out of all of them.
"Debà tirar más fotos" translates to, "I should've taken more photos." I interpret the song as a deep bittersweet feeling of not being able to relive cherished memories with those you love but being happy that those moments happened in the first place. It means to hold those you love close while you have them, to take pictures and firmly ingrain these precious times with those you care about into your memory because some day, maybe soon, all you will be able to do is reminisce on them. Life is gone so quickly in the grand scheme of things, so we should enjoy and love each other as much as we can.
My friends and I, I'd like to think, are very aware of this fact. That life is so fleeting so we should cherish one another as much as we can. We're always taking pictures of each other, of the things we make, the things we do, a mirage of memories we love. In 4 something years, we'll all part ways, in search of different things, but we'll still have these pictures and memories to look back on with a bittersweet feeling.
I have many favorite memories which will probably be listed somewhere here but my all time favorite memory with my friends is
