Sprinkles is going thru a bit of a revamp, thank u for being patient !!

why sprinkles

As a little baby, sprinkles were my favorite food, I don't care if it doesn't count as a "real food," it counts to me. Whenever my parents brought me and my brother out for ice cream, donuts, milkshakes, etc, it didn't matter what I had to do, I would find a way to get rainbow sprinkles on my dessert.

Before, sprinkles were just yummy mini pieces of colorful sugar, which is probably why I loved them so much. I still love sprinkles for those reasons, but they've also come to have a special meaning for me. Sprinkles symbolize special memories, super sugary sweet and enjoyable when you bite your donut, or lick your ice cream, but gone in that same moment. Memories and experiences with those I cherish feel euphoric in the present, but are gone so quickly. Sprinkles help me remember that it's okay to reminisce on the past but to also relish in the present cuz if I never stop grieving sweet experiences, I'll forget to live through the ones happening.

Sprinkles, I'd like to think embody who I am as a person and since I consider my website to be an extension of myself, I had to name it so!
